Customized Workshops: Unlock Your How-Now-Wow

Have you ever participated in a generic workshop and felt it was a waste of time and money? Are you seeking a customized workshop that delivers value? Cinder to Flame aims to do just that; each workshop is tied to specific deliverables and is tailored to match your strategic goals.
I'll introduce the option for a workshop series. Cinder to Flame has developed a unique workshop series that enables you to create your own Innovative Solutions Canvas™ (trademarked deliverable). The goal is to generate more innovative solutions to help solve a complex challenge. Several creative and systems thinking tools and techniques enable you to explore your complex challenge through a wide lens. Novel ideas are sourced that can be transformed into innovative solutions while simultaneously preparing human resources (at every level) and clients (recipients of services or products) for transformational change.
Cinder to Flame also offers a workshop series to create a roadmap to achieve a specific goal. For example, your roadmap can focus on the design and implementation of a new vision (e.g. for your team, department, division or Corporation). Take a moment to consider whether you have experienced or observed one of these pitfalls while crafting a new vision:
The new vision is a laborious exercise that rephrases your current vision.
The new vision is a lofty goal that may not be realistic, especially without a roadmap that provides direction and strategic milestones to achieve success.
There are cultural barriers that impede a new vision. For example, consider a corporate tendency to promote employees from within to leadership positions. This practice can result in groupthink, unconscious biases and resistance to transformational change.
Cinder to Flame offers fresh ideas and can help your Corporation overcome these pitfalls through various strategies, tools and techniques that strengthen the design and successful implementation of your new vision.
Let’s focus on another type of roadmap that is critically important but has been given insufficient attention. Corporate viability into the future requires keeping pace with complex and rapid change in today’s world. I will digress to provide some context. As an entrepreneur and alumni of the University of Toronto, I attended this year’s True Blue Impact Day at the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus. I was struck by how fast AI is moving forward. Generative AI has been surpassed by Agentic AI, where artificial agents (e.g. managers and workers) can be given an assignment and complete it from beginning to end. I discussed the lack of sufficient attention to human-centred AI with several exhibitors. Everyone I spoke with agreed that the primary focus is on AI technology, not humans.
These questions came to mind:
Are humans simply expected to accept the significant change and profound impact of AI?
Do we want leaders who can navigate through AI disruption to achieve desired goals?
Or will people become followers who are swept up in the chaotic evolution of AI?
Cinder to Flame can help build the human side of your AI roadmap. This workshop series applies human-centric design thinking to help identify and bridge human gaps such as readiness, resilience and overcoming resistance. Success hinges upon an integrated AI strategy that is embedded into how your Corporation operates and this requires a cultural shift at all corporate levels to maximize value creation and guide decision-making. Together, we can develop the human side of your AI roadmap that complements technological planning (e.g. further generate AI use cases, review your AI sandbox, etc.) that will disrupt processes, departmental functions and human work roles.
Cinder to Flame also offers customized one day workshops. You can select your workshop theme, choose among topic options, applied activities and specific deliverables.
Examples of one day workshop themes include:
Expanding your team’s creative thinking capacity.
(During my master’s thesis, I delved into thinking styles which I’ve applied to high-performance team coaching.)
Developing critical skills for transformational leadership.
(As the principal investigator for a national survey research project, I designed a framework that captures transformational leadership.)
Exploring opportunities to bolster your corporate culture and align for major innovation. (Research findings have identified multiple facets of a healthy corporate culture for individuals, teams and leaders working within the context of your corporate environment.)
Strengthening your team’s health and well-being while simultaneously building skills for inventive thinking and performance. (This draws upon my diverse leadership experience as both a manager and leader in health care that is transferable across public and private sectors.)
Reflect upon four questions:
Are you ready to generate more innovative solutions to a complex challenge?
Do you want to deliver more value to clients through a new vision?
Is there fear or resistance to AI in your Corporation?
Are you interested in your leadership team’s potential to spark transformation?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, the next step is to unlock and kindle your how-now-wow. Remember this: Cinder to Flame does not offer generic or cookie-cutter workshops. You define the requirements, we will build it and you will love it. The secret to your next breakthrough is customized.
