Cinder to Flame’s copyrighted trademark and brand promise is: Energize. Innovate. Picture lightning as activating these two transitive verbs - engaging individuals, teams and leadership, in building multiple facets of a healthy corporate culture for major innovation.
At an individual level, energize boosts one’s energy level through a connection to health and well-being. Research studies reveal complex interrelationships between modifiable lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, sleep and stress management. Well-being is an umbrella term that is an overall indicator of one’s health, wellness and outlook on life.
The need to energize is especially important following the long-drawn-out pandemic and its after-effects. (Reflect upon your energy level before and after the pandemic.) Are you in need of an energy boost today?
Recent Canadian and Global CEO Surveys position employee health and well-being among top corporate priorities. In today's complex world, full of life stressors, everyone can reap benefits from restoration, rejuvenation and revitalization.
It’s a myth that one can compartmentalize work and home life; we are human beings with basic needs. Maslow’s Hierarchy of need theory attends to basic human requirements with the bottom two levels focused on “physiological needs” and “safety”.
Maslow’s Hierarchy has been applied to corporate culture. “Belonging” pertains to corporate roles and structure. Human Resources helps employees meet their needs for “esteem” and “self-actualization” through performance management. People and corporate culture require a foundation, built upon basic human needs (e.g. time for self-care). When basic needs are unmet, employee engagement is untenable.
Studies link employee health and well-being to several prerequisites for major innovation:
positive and open mindset
full employee engagement
sustained high energy
resilience
tolerance for significant change
motivation.
Energize, is the precursor to innovate and requires a catalyst, compelling research that convinces the mind plus artful delivery that touches the heart. The latter draws upon my extroverted personality to spark interest and ignite enthusiasm. You may find it amusing that I asked my husband to add lightening bolts to this article’s photo that he took at Canon Beach, Oregon.
Innovate, requires a strategy to build multiple facets of a healthy corporate culture (attitudes, behaviors and skills) that connect to creative thinking and innovation, that are tailored at each corporate level.
Cinder to Flame helps Corporations solve complex challenges with strategic services that energize people, fuel a healthy corporate culture and ignite major innovation.
Cinder to Flame’s copyrighted mission statement, is abbreviated in two words: “Energize. Innovate.”
